I liked it a lot better once I noticed that I can view it in terms of forum headings rather than individual thread titles. I feel like the thread view will get increasingly cluttered over time, and that the categories list view should be the default.

Agreed that having the categories default would be ideal. Unfortunately I suck at php and figuring out how to do that would take me a day or two. Anybody want to volunteer?

I'll test out some other templates in the meantime.

I'd volunteer, but I think the site would burn down!

Are you planning to revert back to the original style?

Updated again. As with most things on the site, this is still a work in progress.

It's looking a lot more clean now, but there's a lot of clutter in terms of info under poster's names in threads (links to different info that bleed together and look like one run-on sentence). Maybe just simplify that by only having location and possibly a link to a personal website.

I noticed something similar at the top and bottom of threads where things like 'quick reply,' 'reply,' 'quote,' etc are all lumped together like they're one long clickable link. Perhaps they could be separated somehow, not necessairly by being buttons, but perhaps just by throwing a non-clickable line between each option or something (sort of how the links are in the box near the top of the page where one is given the option to go to the latest posts, their profile, logout, etc).
